Role overview
To lead on the programme management and development of British Council Ethiopia’s Education portfolio, focusing specifically on English for Educational Systems (EES). To ensure the effective delivery of the English for Educational Systems project portfolio, including Peacekeeping English Project (PEP), by working with partners in order to meet British Council’s strategic objectives. To work with the Business and Partnerships Development Manager, to gather intelligence, conduct market research and form partnerships which will further strengthen BC as the ELT authority in Ethiopia.
Interested applicants should have:
- University Degree in Education or any related discipline
- Minimum of 4 years experience working in Education, ELT or a related discipline
- A proven track record of Project management
- ELT qualification
- Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English and Amharic (English IELTS 6.5 or equivalent)
